Hello Plancun!
Where do I even begin? There's so much to share about me! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Jack and I LOVE Cancun!
I have been to Cancun over 30 times in the past 20 years and my year is not complete unless I have at least one trip to Cancun. I have experienced almost every excursion offered in the Cancun tourism industry. I have visited all the cities and historical landmarks, explored the surrounding islands and points of interest, and even taken the slide at Señor Frogs into the lagoon. I consider myself a well-seasoned tourist.
Over the years, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge about how to be a tourist in Cancun, and I consider it one of my greatest achievements. I have talked about my experiences so much that I once had friends and family refuse to discuss vacations with me. I even took my Cancun obsession to Reddit in 2018.
I thought Reddit would be a great platform to share my knowledge and discuss everything Cancun. To my surprise, the Cancun subreddit was inactive, filled with spam, and not really a community. It was only receiving about 50 unique visitors per day, 40 of which were spam posters.
So, I took ownership of the r/Cancun subreddit and transformed it into a thriving community. Since 2018, we have grown from 50 unique visitors per day to an average of 3,000 unique visitors per day and over 7 million page views per year. I anticipate that by the end of 2023, we will reach over 15 million views per year and nearly 6,000 unique visitors daily!
However, I realized that Reddit is not the best platform to share all this information, so I decided to build this website to make it easier for everyone to access my knowledge and information. My goal is to ensure that visitors to Cancun have access to all the information they need, including transportation options, excursions, and restaurants. I only show the best of the best.
